Samar Dev is a middle aged Imass woman. She used to be a merchant/broker of some kind, who has since found the light. As such she is intelligent and calculating, but comes across kinda as a benevolent elementary school teacher or something. She is very capable and practical, and has a different sort of expression of faith than the recently met Banaschar, one of her understudies. She has grey hair and some wrinkles, but is not yet bowed. Does not wear robes, but rather dresses like the well to-do merchant she used to be, oftentimes in a dress of some kind.

A middle-aged Imass woman, Samar is charismatic and intelligent with a very forceful personality. She cultivates an aura of benevolent superiority, not quite grandmotherly though.
