Tadar
Tadar's goal in all things has been to grow his own physical prowess and combat capability. It was for this reason he shacked up with Trake, and when a seemingly better offer came along in the form of a super-powered sword, he jumped on it. Once said sword had worked its tendrils into him, body and soul, he was done for, and he was told to betray his compatriots at the bottom of the Eye of Planes and attempt to steal away the. Diadem of Dimensions. This effort failed, and his companions escaped with the relic. Instead of being brought along for the ride however, his passenger took him over last second and bailed, staying behind in the collapsing planar anomaly the group left in their wake. Getting out was probably pretty hairy, between the mind spells, the possession, and all the planar warping, but somehow the two of them managed it. Now they are stuck with each other, since neither of them is especially in favor with their superiors of the supernatural persuasion. The devil (still not named) is going to need to convince Lether it can atone for its failures, and the best way for it to do that is while driving Tadar. Tadar needs to try and do everything he can to retain some shred of autonomy at this point, and prove that once he is fully brought on board he can prove more useful than he has so far. they probably won't be trusted to track down the Diadem, nor to run a squad with a similar purpose to the one that Jimothius had, but I'm sure something will come up.
This orc barbarian really put his foot in it. He went from the holy warrior of Trake, the Tiger of Summer, Lord of War, to borderline skinsuit of a down-on-its-luck bone devil that is very much out of favor with all of its bosses up the chain of command.
