Bats

Similar (in appearance) to bats that you might see in a non-spirit world, although these creatures are embodiments of loss. On their bellies and backs you can sometimes see the faces of friends you've seen, or perhaps know or suspect, have died or are.
I saw a friend from back home, Tympi, my grandma, but I haven't seen Anise yet... maybe I just don't know she's died (Or maybe I haven't given up hope, maybe it's a loss of hope?)
They seem to invoke a strong emotional response, usually involving poetry, screaming, or even strange bodily movements depending on the individual.
