Dorcha (D'-oor-cha)
Dorcha is a mysterious being found in The Spirit World which could be a God, an Archfae of some kind or, as she described herself, "The Night, the stars in the sky, and the darkness that lets them shine."
She was first heard of when the Spiritual Travelers acquired the book, A Traveler's Guide to Dorchar, which had mention of her name and descriptions of who she is.
She was then encountered on Nurend 17, 308 when Hysteria watched her transform from an incredibly tiny frog into the large frog-like humanoid creature as the sun set and the night sky appeared.
Divine Domains
Dorcha is the Night Sky, or perhaps just the Night itself, or perhaps just the darkness and the stars that shine from within it. It is unclear and enigmatic at this time, however, if she does have a domain it is the night sky.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Symbols for Dorcha include the Moon, Stars, and statues of her which are built around Dorchar. Additionally, pinpoints of light that are similar to stars. Things like Glowsticks, illuminated windows in buildings, candle flames, and so forth.
Physical Description
Body Features
Dorcha has the appearance of a very dark brown, almost black, frog person with white speckles and very faint orange stripes. Similar in appearance to a Paedophryne amauensis. She's about two and a half times the height of whoever is talking to her and carries herself with a quiet, cool, calm posture.
Special abilities
As witnessed by Hysteria, Dorcha has the ability to transform between an incredibly tiny frog and a large humanoid frog-like person. When the sun sets she transforms into this humanoid frog while growing both to an impossible incorporeal height and a more reasonable height that was about two and half times Hysteria's own.
As she is transforming, her gown stretches out behind her to become the night sky and the buildings of The Night City of Dorchar.
Apparel & Accessories
She wears a dark gown with long flowing lengths of fabric draped over her shoulders, elbows, and so on. This fabric looks to be made of the night sky as it has points of light similar to stars. A cloak that almost looks like it is made of shadows is draped over her shoulders though it seems to just melt into the air around her like smoke.
Social
Religious Views
Dorcha seems unaffected or indifferent to worship. She understands that her followers do pray to her and expect others to do so as well, but she does not seem to care whether or not they do. She sees the Dorchar Eadarling as her own creations, as a part of herself, and referred to them as her Stars.
Social Aptitude
Dorcha carries herself with a quiet, cold, calm dignity. She speaks in a calming way even to the most accusational of folk, and seems capable of diffusing most heated situations. She also does what she wants as she will end conversations when she feels it is time to do so by simply walking away to some other part of the city.
