Gardening Sword

This longsword was found in Pluarsh Ec Relovut and possesses the unique property of being a pair of hedge shears.
This sword is a +1 Longsword with a small latch on the hilt. This latch is lodged into a small hole which it can rotate out of unleashing a mechanism which causes a much smaller handle to swing out of the hilt almost like a trigger. When this “trigger” is squeezed into the hilt it causes a second blade to swing out from within the main sword creating a pair of shears. When the trigger is released it swings back out of the handle with the help of a hidden spring causing the new blade to swing back into the main blade.
When used to attack a plant or plant-like creature it deals an additional 2d8 magical slashing damage. It can also be used as a pair of hedge sheers when performing normal gardening activities or exploring areas with dense vegetation.
