Kaldau 23, 258: Escaping
I feel that if Anise were here she would be dead...and for that reason, I would prefer she be someplace else. Because of this, I shall at last take my leave of this wretched place. Whatever fantastic secrets lie within belong to another.
My heart aches. I hope to find you soon, dear sister. I hope we can both be reunited with our dear mother and father before too long. I'm getting back on track.
At long last! Linur never came, but the exit did! The moving walls prove to be both a strength and a weakness for this cursed place. I'm coming Anise, I'm free, and I'm coming to find you.
The Writer provided some drawings and notes on the opposite page as usual. A doodle of the stag-like creature can be seen with the note: "Ever time I close my eyes, I am blinded by it.
When its maw opened I saw myself die.
I wish I could find you, dear sister." A pourly drawn and scribbled out drawing of what is supposedly Anise can be seen as well. "Not like that, truly undeserving of your memory."
Supplemental: Looking back, I am certain that my mind had been altered by the monsters within the walls of that place. They seem to interract with "questions" and as such I would label them "Unanswered Questions." The stag-like being appears to deal with time, so I've related it to a rather funny play on an existing, similar creature from my world and called it the "Whendigo." The creature with the multiple eyes, mouths and "limbs" seems to interract with the unanswered question involving what something is...all things? It repeated the phrase "You are not what you are." suggesting it may be a "Whatdigo". There are others as well that deal with more questions.
