Nurend 12, 258: Goodbye Tympi

I am feeling a bit better. Tympi made a brew from a very special flower she called "Ulunor's Bloom". I'm not sure who Ulunor is, but her bloom really helps! Took awhile for Tympi to prepare the poultice and the potion but I am really starting to feel great. I should tell Anise when I find her.
Tympi has suggested we may have to leave the forest. I am a bit scared thinking of what might be out there, but if she's with me I'll be fine.
We began out journey early in the morning, i didn't realize how deep into the forest we were cause we traveled for hours without any sign of the path. I came across a peculiar tree though...I picked up one of its branches, it told me I'm destined, meant for something beyond myself or Anise....I put it down and walked away.
We eventually came across something unpleasant. I only saw its eyes, mouths, noses...a long, thin tongue. I never saw the legs, arms or anything beyond the long neck and I didn't see what it did to Tympi as I ran.

I rand and ran
I walked
I stopped
She looked at me

"Are you lost?"
"Yes. WIll you help me?"

She stared at me.

"Can you carry your weight?"
"Yes. Will you help me?"

She began to walk away.
She stopped
She turned
She waited for me.

"Are you coming or not?"
"Yes. Are you helping me?"

She waived
She walked
I followed.
All the way to her cottage.
I slept.

The sun rose over her home
Until then I had seen only clouds.
