Nurend 22-42, 258: Trapped
Nurend 22, 258
The sound of crickets lead me to a small abandoned cottage. I was able to get warm, rest, and dry off from the deluge. The cottage was surprisingly wamr, and some spirit magic must've preserved the food as it was well stocked, free of rot. I satisfied my hunger, I feel fine, might be a trap... It's probably a trap.Nurend 30, 258
I think that's the date, I try to track it but the clouds haven't shifted. I can't tell the time, though I faintly make out the shifting rays of a sun....This place keeps me fed. The food is always stocked...probably nothing. I'm doing some reading while waiting for the storm to pass.Nurend 42, 258
It's the end of fall...The winter celebrations are probably happening back home. I've tried to go outside. The cottage doesn't seem to think I need that. Keeps redirrecting me to other rooms. ...I knew this was a trap. The rain is starting to sounds more and more like voices. I'm either going insane or spirits are involved. "No one escapes alive" over and over...._____________________________________________________________ There are some notes and a drawing on the back!
The rain claims no one escapes ALIVE.
The floor boards creak... Their voices ask me "What's in your grave?" You also can see within this drawing that the author has labeled each book on the shelves. "What's in your grave? What's in your Grave?"
"*generic scribbles*, "spirits", etc"
"NO ONE HERE MOVES AWAY. NO ONE MAKES IT OUT ALIVE." And a book on the coffee table reads
"What's in your grave?"
