Small Fish

There are a variety of "small fish" throughout the Spirit World which may or may not be suitable for consumption, decoration, pets, or other surprising uses like seasoning or being left alone to live their lives. They can be found mostly in fresh water environments.

Betas

Cinnamon Beta - A very tiny fish, the size of two of Frode's knuckles put together in terms of length and width, so around 1-2 inches long and 0.5-1 inch wide, I'd say. They don't provide a lot of meat, but they are pretty with a deep orange-red color as the name would suggest. The scales can be powdered to make a delicious, earthy spice that is similar to cinnamon. They are mostly bones though, so not a lot of meat to be had. Frode was able to catch three of these fish in Lake Carranashtuss between Nurend 19th and Nurend 30th, 308.

Shiners

Long-toothed Shiner - A smaller fish, about the size of Frode's palm, its teeth are incredibly long as the name suggests, with the longest teeth actually reaching up and towards its rear fin. These long lower fangs almost have the appearance of whiskers as the fish moves through the water, but they are a surprising defense to the less durable or weary. Each weighs about 1-3 pounds. Frode was able to catch a total of eight of these fish in Lake Carranashtuss between Nurend 19th and Nurend 30th, 308.
