The Endless City of Greed
The Endless City of Greed, or "Greed" for short, is a large city located in the far eastern section of The Badlands. It was described by Croak after Kaswink requested more information about The Citizens of Greed along with where and what Greed is.
Croak provided what information he could about the subject, mostly that it is difficult to reach. He also mentioned that some of the citizens from this city do have a similar appearance as Hysteria though with more fire in the eyes.
Demographics
The demographics in the Endless City are any and all species. The most common amongst them being humans, but there are also some elves, gnomes and just about anything you could imagine.
Government
Greed is governed and owned by a mysterious figure known only as "Igniren".
History
It is unknown when exactly this city came into existence. Some say it has always been, others say it's existed as long as there has been greed in the world, and others say they don't really know or care.
That being said, it has a lengthy history, however, most of its history can be summarized rather quickly:
Accumulate wealth, citizens, land, and whatever else that looks interesting. This has been happening without much resistance from anyone else in The Gates longer than anyone can really say they remember.
Architecture
The Architecture of Greed is reminiscent of Indian and Ottomon architecture for the larger buildings while most of the sprawling residential and mercantile areas are far more rudimentary and simple. Largely just square, sandstone buildings, tents, and holes in the ground where one could catch some shelter from the sun and other elements when needed.
Geography
The Endless City is surrounded on all sides by the harsh desert landscape of the Badlands. Its outer border is framed with very steep and tall canyons on all sides making access incredibly difficult unless one knows the appropriate path.
Show spoiler
The safest, though also longest, path to Greed is found in The Lost Oasis. A tunnel can be located in the easter portion of this town which leads underground all the way to Greed. The tunnel itself has innumerable amounts of gemstones, gold, and other valuables.
Natural Resources
Greed, strangely enough, has no water, food or any other resources of its own. The goods that its merchants sell are usually procured as lost items or perchased to later be sold at some bizarre markup or markdown.
Alternative Name(s)
