Turtles

Turtles, much like their Taranel counterparts, are a type of aquatic animal known for its tough shell. Turtles come in a variety of different forms in the Spirit World and can be found in either fresh or salt water environments.

Noodle-limbed Turtle - A frightening abomination, and thankfully a rather rare one as well. This turtle has incredibly long legs that move about like worms or noodles, hence the name. Its neck can also extend in a similar manner, and when it fully stretches out of its shell it takes on a form that one would be uncertain is a turtle at all were it not for the shell itself or the cute lil face. The legs and neck can each reach about 5-6 feet long, and its body/shell is only about a foot. Frode was able to catch one of these creatures near the shore of Lake Carranashtuss between Nurend 19th and Nurend 30th, 308.
When dissected by Kaswink, the inside of the shell was revealed to be just like a regular turtle. The long limbs are sinewy and wrapped around some twisting tendons that are capable of condensing or stretching out through a combination of elasticity and twisting.
