Unanswered Questions

Whendigo   Horrific, Stag-like creature. Emaciated. Feeds on time, souls. Powerful.   The unanswered question of “When did I get here? When is it?” and the concept of “I am not when I am.” A horrific, emaciated, stag-like creature which walks upon its hind legs much like a humanoid being. Its long arms reach down to its hooves when fully extended, and ribs are clearly visible on its chest. Its face is devoid of all flesh. Sometimes these creatures have exposed entrails as well.
Whydigo   Smarter than it looks...   Horrific, bird-like creature. Emaciated. Feeds on philosphical inquries, souls.   The Unanswered Question of “Why am I here? Why did I come here?” and the concept of “I am not why I am.” A creature of meaninglessness, meaningless inquiry, removing causal meaning from a situation and feeding off of it. It has the appearance of an emaciated, bird-like creature with a visible rib cage and horns protruding from the back of its head. Its arms are of varying length and asymmetrical, with joints that seem to move in unpleasant, random directions.
Wheredigo   A small, potato-sized creature. Insect-like. Has rows of teeth. Feeds on borders, the concept of property...and flesh, blood...it seems to be capable of teleportation. Not much is known about it beyond these initial observations.
Whodigo   Feasts on the concept of self as well as souls. A shapeshifter from what I've gathered.   The Unanswered Question of “Who am I? Who did I go with? Who are these people?” and the concept of “I am not who I am.” A creature detached from its top and lower half as if to represent the mind’s detachment from the body. The top half has jagged teeth lining the bottom, eyes that swirl into nothingness, and hook-like arms that reach out to unlikely lengths when needed. The bottom half has jagged teeth lining the top with hook-like tendrils as a form of locomotion. While it has teeth and some semblance of a “mouth” this creature doesn’t seem to have anywhere for whatever it chews up to go.
Whatdigo   Detached eyes, limbs, mouths, feasts on all things. Not much is known on how exactly it operates beyond this.
Howdigo   The Unanswered Question of “How did I get here? How am I here?” and the concept of “I am not how I am.” While the Whydigo eats the causal meaning of the dungeon, the Howdigo is responsible for removing the journey itself. It raises the question of “How did we get here?”. It has the appearance of detached, spiraling eyes, lines that vaguely resemble a nose and a toothy, grimacing mouth, and “appendages” that manifest from the body outward, constantly growing, detaching, and reforming from the base again.
The Writer encountered some of these beings and discovered references to them within The Labyrinth on Kaldau 21, 258.
