Vsevolodrik's Prison
Located beneath His Throne somewhere in the Northlands, Vsevolodrik is imprisoned somewhere within the place. Visions of Him chained to a wall at varying degrees of emaciation, age and consciousness have been viewed by all of the Spiritual Travelers, but most of these visions have belonged to Hysteria due to their supposed connection to the person. Additional visions have also been witnessed of others within the area such as Agave/Bobcat's sacred Lonely Blue Agave spirit.
Floor 1
The First Floor of this prison appears to be made up of a mixture of ordinary stone and familiar pink-grey bricks arranged in a pattern similar to what was seen in The Maze. Each room experienced seems to be both connected to what has been heard of this Vsevolodrik and the current visitors, The Spiritual Travelers.Depression
The first room encountered was related to Depression. A swampy, death-filled aesthetic with dead trees and a sickly yellow-green slime. One of the walls had a painting of a large, sickly yellow-green face with a large red eye. Tears streamed down this face, pouring freely from the eye. Hysteria flicked a ball bearing at it, and it rippled on the wall as the room slowly began to fill with life. Leaf buds grew on the trees, the air seemed to become less stagnant, but it quickly returned to normal as the painting stopped rippling. Thoughts of passing through were briefly had, but attentions quickly shifted to exploring the pit of slime. It was slowly learned that he slime was sentient and it helped the travelers escape the room and progress through the dungeon.Paranoia
The next room was full of statues. No matter where they went in this area, they found themselves being watched by these statues. Curiously enough, some of the statues were standing on different colored carpets, some of the statues were in different poses, some were made of different materials, but most of them were soldiers wearing armor and holding a sword with the point directed towards the ground. Their attentions were drawn towards the differences in the statues to try and solve a puzzle, but Frode was also concerned with the possibility that the statues would come to life if they did something wrong. With this in mind, they chose to carefully investigate before interacting with anything. Frode discovered that the eyes of these statues were really preserved, living eyes constantly watching whoever was in the room. The exit was discovered and harmed Hysteria as the spirit of Paranoia dissolved its painting and helped you move forward.Torment
The next room was filled with shards of Jade reaching out from piles of ash and burnt wood. A wolf pelt rug was positioned in front of yet another painting of a familiar spirit, Torment. The spirit, similar to what happened to Hysteria, was pulled from Frode and opened the way forward. It seems as though the ones you already dealt with were much easier to get past than the others. The decor of this room was reminiscent of Drimures.Delusion
This room was a proper tavern, something you might encounter on the material plane, but things were a bit off about it. For one, it was quite large compared to most taverns, but it also had two altars: One was in poor condition and found at the northern wall, the other was in fine condition and found on the western wall. ALT approached these altars after trying to sit in a chair and finding that their seat had turned to smoke beneath them. Similarly, each altar that was touched and inspected shimmered like a mirage before becoming smoke itself. Steve approached a painting on the wall. Much like the other rooms it appeared to be the only part of the walls that were different or that lended any sort of potential as a clue. This one was of some distorted, brain-like gyrification which had been pulled and pinched to a center with two lobes above and below. Eye stalks led up to barely visible eyes on a pink, hazy background, and a pair of arms which wrapped through the singularity-like center could be seen in almost meditative poses.Anxiety
Anxiety has yet to fully be explored, but the room has been at least observed. Dark pits dot the floor at random intervals and sizes, spiderwebs cover most things and broken pottery and glass cover the ground. Another painting was seen on the wall as well. Frode discovered that, as he explored this room, he seemed to be more prone to falling than the rest of the group. Also, when he did fall, he grew another arm. The painting was of several hands extending from a blurred section of the environment interlaced with nothingness. Its body is a pair of rhombuses with largely greyscale and heavily contrasting blacks and whites making up its Palette. This painting faded as the anxiety within Frode continued to manifest until it pulled itself completely free of his body. Combat was had in very small, narrow hallways, and the way forward was finally revealed.Memories of Dead Worlds
A side room was chosen to be explored due to the compelling nature of a locked door. Hysteria also heard strong winds and sand on the other side before they picked its lock. Inside this room were the bones of a massive creature, chandeliers, statues and several paintings. The paintings depicted alien worlds as they slowly lost life and eventually became completely desolate before being pulled into the sky by a familiar image of a celestial body, like a moon, but with a giant maw that consumed everything. After fighting a bunch of skeletons that rose and formed from the bones of this other creature, the bones reformed into the creature itself and continued to fight the party. It was defeated, and a potential puzzle was detected within the statues. A wyvern, a griffin and a humanoid woman holding a bundle of grains. In the end, it was realized that removing them from the room completely might be the solution, and doing so caused another stairway to Floor 2 to be revealed.Floor 2
The walls of this floor appear to be rougher, less uniform stone and more of a cave aesthetic. However, within the 'cave-like walls' are bits of metal, stone and other remains of some ancient and ruined world. All that has been seen of this place so far is a single room, though, beyond it they have seen more tunnels and even some mysterious road signs. Some of these signs were barely legible, most notably the nearest sign which simply said "Library".A Library
Upon reading this sign, some realizations began to take hold. Amongst the ruined stone and wood were several damaged books littering the ground. Bookshelves appeared that weren't there before which blocked any way forward. These shelves smelled incredibly moldy, musty and the sensation of a warm, rancid breath was fealt before a massive face and two arms ending in shriveled claws grew from each shelf.
