Liberti

A Liberti is either a cainite that is not a member of the Eternal Senate or a freed ghoul. They can hold no other social rank and are not able to vote for the Tribune of the Plebs

Requirements

In rare circumstances, Ghouls who's domintor has met final death can petition for this status. If a sponsor if found they will be treated as a probationary member of the Eternal Senate

Benefits

A liberti can hold the office of Lictor in the Eternal Senate, the office of either Discens or Tirones while in the Night Legion and finally the office of Epulones in the Collegium. Depending on the sponsor.

Weather ghoul or not the liberti can hold domain and trade in boons.

Accoutrements & Equipment

A Ghoul with this status wears a felt cap called the Pileus while at gatherings. If they are a number of the Night Legion they can for go the cap while in uniform.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

After 100 years of service the liberti is embraced, if a ghoul, and acknowledged as a member of the Eternal Senate.
