Mathild takes Rosalind out of the room
Rosalind spends the evening with Mathild and her dog, Jolly, in M's room
Mathild suggests they visit their Callay grandmother
Rosalind says they should stay
Mathild agrees if they visit in the winter
They visit Grandmother Lander's garden
They are called to the throne room
Soldiers on guard do not greet Mathild - Rosalind is offended
Roland is surrounded by soldiers
Mathild is to marry Ihan in less than 2 years (when she is 14)

Rosalind says she will not marry - rather marry poor farmer
