Magisterium Auditor

A large construct used in the enforcement of laws and the defense of the Magisterium.   The Auditors are fairly complex machines, and the majority of the complex parts are in its four arms. The machine is powered by bronze clockwork infused with conjuration and enchantment magic, and is incased in enchanted steel plate metal. There are three pointed legs that pull into the main body, turning the Auditor into a large statue when inactive. The tripod makes it a slow mover, but it is capable of short bursts of levitation, which enables it to move quickly over 20 foot ranges.   There are two sets of arms. The first set is in the middle of the torso. These arms are long, with three joints and hands containing four central fingers with thumbs on each side of the fingers. They are used for fine precision work and are capable of limited self-maintenance. The second set are powerful, three fingered lifting arms. Heavily built, these arms are the most complex parts of the machine. The right arm has a large lance within the forearm, which can extend rapidly from a good distance away. It also has a large curved blade on its underside, which can flip forward to make wide sweeping strikes on multiple opponents. The left arm is equipped with a focus crystal within the forearm, which allows it to shoot focused lasers of energy at the cost of its own energy reserves.
Access & Availability
Auditors are present throughout Magisterium buildings, and one is usually present in an off-campus wizard facility. They are under the control of the Magician Judges, who can pass control to any senior wizard for a temporary time as needed.
Discovery
Auditors were created shortly after the formation of the Golden Empire. Originally designed as manual labor constructs, it was determined that a combat-able machine with resistance to magic would be better used as a law enforcement device.
