Diplomatic action
Several smaller settlements in the west form the Civil Trade Union, establishing the first "nation" on the continent of Andricum.
After decades of mostly independent existence, several small human settlements begin trading amongst themselves. The trade is spurred mostly by a growing site called Aurea. Established on a river named the Western Goldflow, Aurea gained massive wealth from gold found in the river. Aurea used this gold to begin purchasing large quantities of food, goods, and natural resources from neighboring settlements. An understanding was reached that uniting all involved sites in a mutually beneficial trade agreement would allow each settlement to thrive and grow without the need for conflict or conquest. The agreement led to the formation of the Civil Trade Union, with Aurea as it's capital.
