Co-Emperor period ends

Alerian Goldstrand passes without a living heir, so the duties of emperor pass to the Pelar family.

Alerian Goldstrand, one of the two responsible for the creation of the Golden Union, passes shortly after the death of his only son. Discussions are had over who should take his place as co-emperor. It is decided instead that one emperor would be able to take on the duties of leading and safeguarding the empire, and so the Pelor line takes sole control of the Golden Empire.
