'Tural'

'Tural' is a trained 'Blood Hound' currently following the Kobold adventurer 'Kuhl'.
The creature was first encountered when the party with whom Kuhl was travelling were accosted by a strange black-clad Elf accompanied by a great number of what seemed to be little better than bandits and a group of trained hounds. The Elf accused the group of harbouring illegal goods, later confirmed to be people smuggled in to serve apparently as slaves, the Elf set his cronies upon the party including Tural while he absconded with the bulk of his force and the helpless civilians.
During the battle Kuhl took care to strike the hound unconscious with the flat of her blade so as not to cause it unnecessary harm. When the dust settled she and her companion Dazz spent agonizing moments attempting to calm the hound after it regained consciousness; eventually the hound was calmed enough for them to examine the creature more closely. Upon examining the beast and discovering that he had been fitted with a spiked collar which dug into his neck, Kuhl and Dazz had set about removing the offending implement without earning the creature's ire. After a few tense moments Dazz successfully removed the collar and the hound was released under their care.
In the ensuing weeks since Kuhl has taken time to bond with the creature, and has begun training him to bear her on his back into battle.
