Most in Argent are devote followers of Astor, and the Church of Astor is the primary religious and political power in the region. As the state formed as the original Astorian Acolytes sought freedom along the Argent Coast, Argent is a bedrock of history and culture for the religion. Religious displays are so commonplace as to be considered standard.
Those that do not follow the church devoutly are tolerated, after a fact, but struggle to hold any real economic, cultural, or political clout.
