Rodfort - The Red Keep

Rodfort is a large fortification, and surrounding settlement, in The Jerntopp Range, on the closest point between The Spitzevolke Republic and Kolosskopf. The fortification itself is referred to as The Red Keep

The keep was originally Dwravish, and the ancestral home of the Redaxe dwarf clan. Rodfort fell to the invading Spitzevolke however, who repurposed it to their own ends. The keep is so named due to the iron rich rock mined from the Jerntopps that the keep was build from. Beneath Rodfort is a deep mine, thought to be the origins of the stone that formed the foundations of Konigsstadt .
