Effects on the people

A ration pack is just a bag with rations in it to feed the solider and the civilian. But it presents both terrifies and brings people together.

Military

The military has a natural few on the ration pack. They know the ration pack has some terrible food that even the strongest of stomachs crumble by its taste. But they understand its purpose and use, respecting the ration pack for feeding them, even though they taste horrible. Often in meal times, the troops would gather in groups. To socialise, to share cultures and ideas, and to trade ration pack snacks or meals. Men, women, and aliens of all types connect with each other during meal times. Often racial differences are settled down because of a single meal talk during a war.

Civilian

When the civilian population is told to gather their ration packs, the civilian population will know their world will go under conflict or a major atrocity will happen soon. The civilian population will usually go through the day of last. The day of last is when the civilian population will refuse to work and stay at home to say to their final goodbyes to their loved ones, and prepare for the eventual downfall of their society for war or atrocity. Sometimes civilians will stock up on weapons and steal from unguarded shops, but most nearly all will just stay home having a good time. Dancing, singing, talking and settling differences. Because soon their world will go through hell.

Will be an good idea to specify how big the pack is, if the pack is like an meal specify how much of all tings is in it, how big is the candy bar, how many toilet paper they have (in the world war 2 the English soldiers where having an ration of 2 pieces of toilet paper per day like an example )the ration pack is served daily? Is served weekly? And thanks for the "vegetable karma "this name inspire me to make an special martial technique for my world

I have added the weight of each item and how much is in the ration pack. But to answer your question about how many times the pack is served. Its situational, deepening on the food resources, amount to feed, and the situation for needing the ration packs. Ration packs are more of a end scenario thing.

In the best scenario the pack will be probably weekly served because you can easily survive for a week whit 2 kg of food

You can survive but you will be low on energy and vitamins. These packs are made to last a day and you can theoretically survive a week. But you will be weak.

Great level of detail in this article! I'd love to know more about how people mix the ingredients and use them to create unique recipes with their limited supplies :D
