Sunderlands

The Sunderlands are a region of the Imperium. They are named for their topography, consisting of a huge number of plateaus of various sizes surrounded on all sides by deep chasms. The entire area forms a somewhat symmetrical pattern, radiating outwards from the center; this is where Ghor Dranas, the capitol of the Outsider gods was located during the Calamity Wars. During the siege of Ghor Dranas, the final battle of the Calamity Wars, Pelor dueled and defeated Asmodeus here; the fall of the Betrayer shattered the city and cracked the surrounding plains.
Artifacts and remains from Ghor Dranas litter the labyrinthine chasms, which are populated by a variety of dangerous creatures lured here by the dark power infused in the land by the spilled blood of Asmodeus.
