The Outsiders

The Outsiders are a group of gods that were originally members of the Prime Pantheon before fighting against the Empyreans in the Calamity Wars. They lost the war and were banished as a result. They always seek to return to the Disc through the workings of their followers. Worshipping them is outlawed in most nations on the Disc.
The Outsiders are:

• Asmodeus, the Lord of the Nine Hells, god of the Nine Hells, Lies, Tyranny and Domination
• Bane, the Strife Emperor, god of War and Conquest
• Gruumsh, the Ruiner, god of Blood and Slaughter
• Lolth, the Spider Queen, goddess of Deceit
• Tharizdun, the Chained Oblivion, god of Darkness and Destruction
• Tiamat, the Scaled Tyrant, goddess of Greed, Envy and Chromatic Dragons
• Torog, the Crawling King, god of Enslavement and Torture
• Vecna, the Whispered One, god of Necromancy and Secrets
• Zehir, the Cloaked Serpent, god of Poisons, Snakes and Assassins

In the beginning of the Calamity Wars, there was a tenth Outsider, a deity of death and fate. A mortal woman, whose name is now lost entirely to history, ascended to godhood and claimed parts of his divine portfolio for herself, becoming the Raven Queen and joining the Lunar Court. During this process, the former god of death was annihilated entirely, and the Raven Queen went so far as to sunder his name from history; not even the other Outsiders are able to remember the name of their fallen ally.
