Ares

Built and modified in the Institute, this Gen 2 prototype had a lot of extra funding put into his design. Capable of sustaining substantial amounts of punishment and still operating at peak efficiency, it was intended to be used as an assault model for us in high risk breaching exercises. Once some flaws surfaced however and the teams began focusing on a Gen 3 direction for the future, it was Doctor Hammerson that decided to find a use for him.

With so much hardware and armor stuffed inside of him, little room was left for an integrated camouflage. Synthetic polyurethane skin was textured over his entire body, creating a believable disguise at a distance. Up close however, most people immediately feel unsettled whether they can identify exactly why or not. His voice is also entirely devoid of emotion, leaving his statements and questions at the exact some tone, another common feature left out to compensate for combat statistics.

Serving as a bodyguard while the Doctor conducts his business in the Great Dust Bowl, Ares is the strong and silent type. He goes where he is told, kills who he is told to kill, and protects his handler at all costs. Wearing a long dark duster and sunglasses to help conceal his unnatural appearance, it tends to only help him stand out as he is nearly the size and stature of a typical super mutant.

As Courser, except increase HP to 50 and Physical DR to 5.
