The Red Blossom is a flower that was first found in the distant lands of Ondowr. It said they can be found on stone fruit trees that grow in the volcanic soil of the land. After the founding of the Samru Empire records began to show that they were collected by the Sowes and given to their wives as the petals held a deep red color that many found intoxicating. It was not until many years later that men would come home to find their wives lost in a deep trance. In the following years the Red Emperor would forbid the collection of these flowers. Some say it was due to the trance that one would go into after brewing the flower. Rumors spread that one could speak to the gods if the blossom was brewed into a tea. Many tried and found that after the trance they were never the same. Time went on and slowly the court of the Red Emperor collected all the known Red Blossom trees. Some say they were cast into the volcanoes of the Red Spires. Servants often whispered of seeing the trees within the gardens of the elite. Those of a more criminal mind began to steal the blossoms and sold them to the company.
“They say if you drink this you can enter the pantheon of the gods. Be mindful as you do not wish to enter the wrong one. The Gods of Darkness will tear your soul apart and you will not be able to enter the afterlife.”
“It's said the Red Emperor gains his immortality from drinking the tea of a Red Blossom. I think the gods have told him their secrets. No mortal soul can gain immortality without their help.”
