Gehenna Amaranthine
The heartfelt beat of the drum
In your chest, ceaseless
unerring, steadfast, the call to the mind
Of which we are unfamiliar
Of the voice I left to the world
A breeze on which they relied
I turely wanted naught but,
to live amongst the children I left to the world
The void in the mind, fore whence we knew
Us Four, now One
For we did not foresee the consequences
Of the actions, we knew the risk
The cold star of the eyes
now many, we do not bare
I only seek now to feel my voice
as it was ripped away from me
The mind built to see the patterns
the patterns distorted, mind incomprehensible
The void in which we dwell, we know not
Fore when we are given the opportunity
We seek the admission of their guilt
Fore ours is the same crime
Our benefit did not outweigh theirs
Unforgiven in the Actions of the Four
Unforgiven in the Actions of the Eight
For it was the children who suffered
In our wrath, we fought
We knew they would follow us
To the end, to the void
For that, our sins are unjustified
To forget our vitues
Fore they were not convenient at the time
We cannot continue in the way we were
We must let our children grow
We must let them know we need them
More than they needed us
Now, the void is the home
The Skies and Stars, still in air
I cannot see, I cannot speak
I see only the face of a child, distant in blood
I see only myself
Only me
Who are you, what are you?
Only me
Only me
only me
only
me
