Right of the Griffons

Glaion has a tradition of non-intervention between the Griffons and the Basilisks. These two beasts hunt in the same territories and the same prey. Glaion has always seen the Griffons as a good omen when they are seen, they like to see how these territorial disputes turn out, because they seen this as fight between good and evil. Griffons has also been welcome inside the city proper for this same reason. The Right of the Griffon is used as a popular saying in the region used as a way of saying this is right, indisputable, or just. Thus the City has a Crest with the beast on it.
