Manufacturing process
The Material needs to be imbued with the magic in the presence of a resonator, specifically the silk. The copper crown need only be inscribed with the proper runes to induct the same frequency of sound to the wearers ears.
History
The Veil exists as an arcane artifact from the Sage of Huron. Who, while playing with a recent resonator added to their labratory, found that a voice spoken through a scrap of thin fabric could disspell lies. This was refined later as the Sage continued to work with the material, finding that if they affixed a full head piece to it, the wearer could understand multiple languges.
Significance
The Veil has become a staple article of clothing to the Matron of Gables Great Bar room in the City of Glaion. Salandrahth has made many the great deals using the veil, as people cannot typically lie to her without great effort. As she is also the respository of all the City's gossip, and information, it has served her exceedingly well.
