Vilorlith passage 1: sec 45
Purpose
This passage would seem to be discussing some ending. Of what we are unsure, what we do know is that they speak about the world as if it has changed in some way. As if the world the author lived in was in a pseudo stasis, being added by some benevolent entity. We also have one of our few references for the The Namoux speaking about a specific subgroup of their Culture. While only a reference in the original document, this is the only reference we have to a group of people and or creatures called: The Brownies.
While we are unsure of the history of this piece, we do feel a sense of foreboding. Almost as if there is something that was lost.
Though seen by very few, few still that have any semblance of what is going on here. In this humble scholar's opinion; seeing as this is one of the last piece writen in the journel filled with the Namixian Faith, I'd like to believe that this passage is meant to be encouraging. What I mean is this, the constant reference of they still stand, despite having lost this "Mother" this "Her", despite watching the world burn around them. They still stand.
It is what I would like to believe, though I have a far large collection of evidence to make this contrary. This was the end of something, Though I do find it interesting that many of our legends speaking about the Dawn of Truths, almost ubiquitoius reference this burning darkend world before the gods appeared. Though these "Brownies" seem to not see it as a new dawn, but a fate they are forced to endure. "We watched a poisoned sun rise"...
