Some people are convinced that the world is secretely governed by a secret organization, hiding behind the curtains and eleminating whoever dares to go against its wishes. While they are regarded as fools before disappearing in unfortunate incidents, they are close to the truth. But not spot on.

This world is ruled by a web of intertwined net and powerful societies which advance their own agendas. Players of the greatest game of them all, these entities wage the most quiet all-out war against all others at once. Politics, finance, science and culture are merely the tip of the icebergs.

Assassination, blackmail and proxy war is the real thrill of the game. Armies of hitmen collide silently while looking for opportunities to strike the wealthiest and most influential individuals. The players rarely dirty their hands, that's what pawns are for.

Only one rule is absolute up there: secrecy is paramount. Nobody knows who they are playing against, and sometimes even allies are shrouded in shadows. Because the moment one's identity is revealed, their life is considered forfeit.
