There isn’t a large population of gnomes in
the Greenwold, but those that do live there
get around. Gnomes are commonly encountered as traveling sages, wandering explorers,
bards, and other occupations that lead them
to new experiences (or trouble).
The ancestral homeland of the gnomes
are the Trollfells on the eastern edge of the
Greenwold. However, those forests and hills
are now overrun by ogres, trolls and other
giants - meaning only the hardiest and most
reluctant remain.
