Human

Even with the destruction of the old world, humans are still one of the most numerous and successful race in the Heard of Lands, their societies can be found across the entire world, often around places of great power. Often seen as impetuous and selfish by other races, Humans have proven themselves to be adaptable, strong willed and resourceful.
Most humans fall under the banner of the nation of Afacia, an immense city state founded by the hands of the god Arkarne, which is often seen as the ‘centre’ of the Heard of Lands.
There are three other known groups or kingdoms of men: 

Highly monastic and fanatical Nosque, who live around mt.FORGOT and worship the Twins Rhiestevai and Viestevai.

The kingdom of Siluria, a giant Island nation of the dragon worshipping and tribal Silurians, worshipers of the God Sil.

Lastly the "Fringers" who made their home on the Borders of Darkwood and associate closely with the Elves there.
