Changelings

Changelings belong to no particular culture or lands, instead blending in where they can. Their kind are naturally met with distrust, leading to many to never reveal their changeling nature until the day they die. Certainly in places like Taranthia, to have a changeling child born to you is seen as an ill omen and in many cases changeling children are disowned by their families.

Little is known about changelings - they are mostly resigned to rumour and hearsay. There are very few changelings out in the open - most use their powers to hide in plain sight.

age: Changelings age slightly faster than humans but have similar lifespans. Though they can change their appearance to hide the effects of ageing, their years still catch up with them.

alignment: Changelings are changeable and tend to no particular alignment.

Change appearance
As an action, you can change your appearance and your voice. You determine the specifics of the changes, including your coloration, hair length, and sex. You can also adjust your height and weight, but not so much that your size changes. You can make yourself appear as a member of another race, though none of your game statistics change. You can't duplicate the appearance of a creature you've never seen, and you must adopt a form that has the same basic arrangement of limbs that you have. Your clothing and equipment aren't changed by this trait. You stay in the new form until you use an action to revert to your true form or until you die.

Changelings have silver skin and eyes, though this is rarely if ever seen during their lives: changelings revert to this form upon death.
