Chora, The Bird, The Crow, The Reaper

People believe that at the end of your life, the crow will come and swallow you up whole. The dead are often buried with small scarecrows to keep the bird away. In other places, silver or a shiny object is used to distract the bird whilst your soul escapes. Many believe in the bird, but few actively worship it - and those that do, do so in secret.
