Abraham Mellon

The enigmatic figure arrived in London in 1727 appearing to be a frail old man who presented himself as a scholar of the occult, presumably another Tremere here to study the so called lay lines that had become something of a hot topic after the events of the mid 16th century. Since his arrival however his research, his haven, his exact motives and pretty much any information about him, or his past are a complete black hole. Anyone who asks or tries to research anything about the man is left disappointed either because he is incredibly good at hiding his origins or because he is not being entirely truthful. All that is known about him is that he is a scholar and studies the occult and he does so under great secrecy.
On the surface his activities appear benign, he keeps mostly to himself and when he does speak, he comes off more like a philosopher than a scholar, using strange references, making odd observation and usually making little to no sense to the casual observer. His accent is distinctly middle-eastern though he is white as a ghost and looks more like an Englishman than someone who traveled here from foreign lands. Of all the oddities that perforate the mans persona however, he does at least appear to have some considerably reputable associations, the Nosferatu most notably. In the past, several unusual individuals have come to see him, including most famously Dosiethius magister primus of house Tremere, which is what has given him the presumed reputation that he has never disputed of being clan Tremere.
Rarely seen or heard from Abraham is something of a hermit, however on the few occasions he has appeared in court he says virtually nothing, simply standing in a corner observing even going so far as ignoring anyone who speaks to him as if they were not there.

Vampires who actually appear old are rare, its clear that this vampire was turned very late in life. He often speaks latin and hebrew which also suggest that he either is the scholar and philosopher he claims to be, or is actually an old vampire both in appearance and actuality.
