Ellen

Marcus Elia’s only known progeny to survive the London revolution has taken a fair stake in London in the aftermath. Over the years she has rebuilt The Guinea, and controls several restaurants and pubs throughout London. Though unlike her sire, she did not procreate choosing instead an independent life style.   She has proven to be a vocal supporter of the two primogen women on the council, Isabella and Kathrine. She is also very vocal about her opposition to the Camarilla, believing the entire thing to be nothing more than a Ventrue plot to rule over vampires. She is a staunch defender of the rights, principles and freedoms of Vampires in London, something she does with considerable clout as free spirited Elder. She is also vocal opponent of the Tremere who she believes are behind the Ventrues never ending rise to power and speaks out against allowing Tremere into the city.   Ellen has taken the role of something of an enforcer in the city as well, sometimes to the dismay of the council and acting sheriff. She runs her own investigations in the city, seeking out unannounced vampires, and searching for Camarilla plots. While technically she is doing nothing illegal, at least to this point, her inquiries are not always polite and she has made quite a few enemies in the city, in particular Don Cerro who she believes is more than a mere Camarilla sympathizer and actually a full member. She accuses him of secretly housing and helping unannounced Camarilla vampires hide in the city, though to date she has brought no clear evidence of any such doing.   In recent years Ellens investigation have become more aggressive as she publicly points out many clues she has uncovered that lead her to believe that the Tremere in collusion with the Camarilla are attempting to form a chantrey in the city as a first step to reclaiming the city. The evidence is circumstantial at best and her demeanor and clear dislike for the Tremere make her appear as if she has a personal axe to grind rather than providing a service to the city.   She is also a major opponent of allowing a werewolf in the city, something she is very public about.
