Helena

The mysterious vampire has plenty of rumors and kindred historical accounts that if true would certainly qualify her as a true Methuselah, but much of her personal goals and reasoning mystifies the few vampires that actually encounter her.
What is known is that she is clearly cruel and indifferent to humanity as we know it, her agenda is her own and she is indeed powerful.
Her appearances go as far back as ancient Greece but there really is no accounting, one can simply assume that she is at least 2,000 years old if not more.
Her arrival in London in 1558 A.D. has had tremendous impact as she interferes with the kindred power structure as she see's fits, making her both a potential villain or for some an ally.

Helena's beauty is renown and its well established that she is Toreador.

Personal history

While not much is known about the details of Helena's personal history, her participation in the fall of Carthage and the utter decimation of clan Brujah in that era is legendary as is her feud with Menele, one of the ancient Brujah survivors of Carthage.

Taboos

Helena is well known for diablarie, in fact there are at least a dozen accounts of the vial act. She has been on the Vaticans death list for as long as anyone can remember.

FUN Fact: In the original writing for this Vampire chronicle, I had intended for one of the player characters to be Helena's progeny. My only requirement was that a player choose to play a female Toreador without any coercion from me. No one did and hence the rest was history, or perhaps better to say the lack of history since it never happened. We did get a Toreador however, our beloved Erik Marak.
