This fledgling Vampire originally arrived to London from Prague after her involvement in a very high profile exposure of a plot by the Ventrue prince in Prague in which he was attempting a coupe against his own sire in the early 13th century . According to the story, Katherine discovered that the prince of Prague was plotting to diablorize his sire and through the use of some obfuscate based blood magic take on his identity. Katherine brought this to the attention of both the Vatican and the sire in question with indisputable proof making her something of a celebrity among the powerful elite despite her very tender young age. The prince was put to final death for his actions and while Katherine walked away a hero in the eyes of many very powerful kindred, her unlife was in considerable danger, assumably because their were many supporters of this plot yet to be exposed.
Her arrival in London put the city in a precarious position, in particular the cities prince at the time. On the one hand she is a magnet for trouble as there are many who would like to see her disappear, attracting a lot of unwanted attention to the city. On the other there is a young fledgling in the city that has considerable pull with some of the most powerful organizations and vampires of Europe, making her in a sense, untouchable by anyone who values their unlife.
Katherine is a tough, outspoken kindred that definitely acts above her station. She has garnered a considerable amount of support in London already and associates regularly with the Baker Boys as well as having a personal relationship with Joseph Mikhailov and Argus Petrone who have both made use of her uncommon influence among kindred politics at large to their mutual benefit. She lives as a guest in Joseph Mikhailov’s domain.
Before her embrace Katherine suffered a horrible disfiguring injury to her face and as a result wears a mask around her mouth at all times. It’s commonly believed that she is very sensitive about her appearance and the rumor is that the entire reason why she brought down the Prague prince was because he commonly insulted and commented on her appearance, the act of a scorned women.
