Lady Ann Bowesely

Lady Ann Bowesely arrived in London in 1782, a proud member of the Camarilla and clan Ventrue. She brought with her wealth, prestige and considerable holdings. She established herself in London extremely quickly and its very apparent that much of the reason for that was that she had agents working and preparing for her arrival in London long before she actually did.
Today she is a prominent vampire who commands considerable influence in the English royals, the parliament and among Scottland Yard detectives proving that she must clearly be a Ventrue. This very rapid ascend to power has left many elder vampires in the city concerned about her intentions, though she claims to simply be doing what she was bred to do, rule as all Ventrue do. She is British wealth in the most stereotypical sense, living among countless servants in one of the largest mansions in London. She is old money, having no reason to invest or make more, though she is known to be extremely stingy when it comes to sharing that wealth with anyone.
She is a stuck up snob, considering herself superior to everyone, giving exception only to other elder Ventrue. She scuffs very publicly about the idea of a Lasombra prince and was very publicly against the entry of the Lasombra into the Camarilla, referring to them as "unworthy". Though truth be told she says the same thing about the Nosferatu, Gangrel, Tremere and so on. Perhaps the only other clan that gets a passing grade are the Toreador, which she claims "are at least entertaining". She abuses her servants, and pretty much anyone who she considers inferior and seems to do it without any fear whatsoever.
She has also been responsible for the death of 3 vampires over the last hundred years, all of which where the results of direct assaults on her, vampires lashing out at her in public after she enraged them with her subtle but very harsh insults. Her strength is the stuff of legend, according to witnesses when she was attacked at the Carlton by a neonate who refused to put up with her verbal abuse, she very casually slapped his head off as if swatting a fly. One vampire tried to murder her in Elysium at court, where prior to ripping off his head she said "no need to burden this court with a trial, you are clearly too stupid to be alive". Suffice to say she is a grade A bitch not to be fucked with, a lesson some have learned the hard way. She also seems to have considerable clout with the Camarilla.
Some claim she is a very powerful and very ancient Methuselah and member of the inner circle, but she denies any such claims, according to her, she was made in 1688 by the former prince of London, Valerius who she proclaims was a fool and unfit to rule London, but also points out would still better than "That Lasombra thing we have today". There is no doubt that she considers herself a player in the big house and it's not too far fetched to assume that she is after the crown of the city, in particular given that she seems to oppose Isabella, the current prince at every opportunity often going out of her way to publicly embarrass her.

Strong vampires at the level that Lady Ann has very publicly displayed can only be the result of immense strength combined with the Potence discipline known as The Fist of Cane, without question one of the most feared disciplines in the kindred archive. Vampires that poses this level of discipline can impale, decapitate and even rip a heart out the chest of mortals and vampires alike with their bare hands with same effort it takes to swat a mosquito. So feared is this discipline, the Camarilla for ages has considered outlawing its development.
