Paul Bedwell

Clearly of Irish descent, Paul Bedwell arrived to London in 1872 from Manchester as a recently widowed Neonate after his sire met his final death under rather suspicious circumstances. His arrival in London went largely unnoticed until rumor of his possible involvement in his sires murder raised eyebrows. In the end there was too little evidence to implicate Paul Bedwell, but clearly staying in Manchester wasn't going to be easy for him and so he moved to London. Little is actually known about Paul as he maintains a relatively low profile, rarely being seen in public and even rarer still being involved in any aspect of kindred life in London. All that is known is that he owns several fishing vessels that operate out of the south London docks and was a figurehead in forming the dock workers union in London that has been a constant headache for businessmen and investors trying to profit from the trade business in London. Not particularly liked, though not particularly known, Paul might be considered an utterly insignificant non-player in London but rumor has it that in Manchester he was quite a bruiser, acting as a personal enforcer of the prince. It's unclear if that relationship ended well, poorly or if it ended at all.

It's not entirely clear what Paul's motivation is, from his reputation it seems like he might be hiding from his past, from his action it seems like he is trying to grasp onto a piece of the pie in the docks. He has no known kindred associates and is rarely seen or heard from which one can presume is either the act of a vampire laying low, or because he does not wish to attract attention to his activities.
