Reginald Moore
Arriving sometime in the 1840's under less than savory conditions it is rumored that he is the result of a botched feeding and though there is little evidence either way, the rumor was it was a prominent Ventrue behind the incident, but officially he is proclaimed to be a Brujah (by his own admission), though it is unclear how a young neonate would know or believe that. It is likely that this was part of an "arrangement" to save the unnamed Ventrue the embarrassment of such an incident as well as the consequences, but in the eyes of the law since no responsible vampire came forth to claim his progeny, Reginald was initially set to be sentenced to death.
He was ultimately spared by the prince of London (Isabella) seeing it as an opportunity to embarrass the Ventrue by suggesting this was who actually made this vampire and to stand as an embarrassment to the Brujah that he claims to be.
Being neither claimed or respected he is not beholden to either the Ventrue or the Brujah and both reject him thusly. Reginald has had a tough time in London, though to the surprise of everyone he managed to make a semi worthy Kindred out of himself with considerable clout in the city. In fact, he has gained considerable influence and power despite the lack of a sire, suggesting that he is either of a considerably lower generation than one might expect, or particularly clever. If it is indeed generation, this would further narrow the likely list of potential sires he might actually belong to.
Much of his success is very clearly the product of his uncanningly charming personality, despite reputation, he is generally liked in particular by less political kindred and has managed to make a fairly impressive list of allies, none of which are Ventrue or Brujah, at least to anyone's knowledge. Over the years there have been attempts on his life by unknown assailant presumably simply for existing and it is for this reason he is rarely seen in public without his considerable entourage of thrall brutes that vigilantly watch over him to ensure his safety.
Reginald runs a popular night club called the Carlton and can be found entertaining mortal and kindred guests alike. The club is very exclusive and commands a very good reputation for both its entertainment value and as a safe meeting place in the city for kindred who require a bit of discretion. Reginald purchased the club from royalty, formerly owned by The Duke of Wellington who initially funded the forming of the Carlton as a gentlemen's club. Since Reginald took over the club however considerable exception have been made to allow female members, in particular kindred.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Reginald can be found personally operating The Carlton on pretty much a nightly basis. While the club is exclusive and one must be a member, kindred included, it is an open feeding ground for vampires looking for something different. Reginald clearly has a personal stake in The Carlton, it is obviously his means of supporting himself.
Reginald very clearly wants to make The Carlon, THE establishment in London, hence he does everything he can to bring in high roller client and very specifically important kindred of the city.
Unclaimed vampires like Reginald go against standard Camarilla practice, the fact that the prince of the city offered this man a pardon is unusual, though not unheard of.
