Stephan Lenoir

There are many reasons vampires come to London, but with most, once they have stayed a while, it’s usually not to difficult to figure them out. That is not the case with Stephan who remained a rather local mystery for several years after his arrival in in 1518 A.D.   He claimed to be an Antitribu Lasombra who escaped the madness of the recent death and presumed diablorie of the clans Antediluvian. While there is no evidence to suggest anything one way or the other, the vampire did come to an Anarch city after all suggesting he had a reason to. His arrival with news of the Lasombra Antediluvians death however confirmed the story of clan Lasombra’s troubles in Europe and the rather precarious position of the clan since it rejected the convention of thrones agreement and refused to join the Camarilla.   His political affiliations are subtle, morale and logical, resulting in an open question as to exactly who’s side he is on. He appears to approach every situation from a very practical angle, neither siding or opposing any sects, positions or people.   His humble domain in North London has been opened on several occasions to disenfranchised neonates in the city, in fact prior to being asked to join the primogen council as its 5th member, he was something of a celebrity among younger vampires for his generosity. Though his age is unknown, he does play the role of the seasoned elder giving advice, offering shelter and presumably allying himself with the younger vampires of the city. Its largely believed that the council succumbed to pressure from the many young neonates in the city who demanded someone on the council to represent them. The demand was for Sir Edward Scott to represent the local Neonates on the council, but the council chose Stephan instead as he at least had the appearance and demeanor of a more seasoned vampire. He is often referred to as “The Uncle”, by the local neonate population.
