The Steel Eaters

The Steel Eaters on the other hand, organise with no overall vertical social hierarchy and prefer dividing themselves according to craft. These are called Dret (lit. Maker) and each is then organised in accordance to the skill of the individual orc, with the most experienced orc coordinating their apprentices. Each Dret is generally separate from and dependant on one another. However a Dret can grow large enough or be in high enough demand that it itself breaks down into related Dret, such as Hak'Dret (Blade-Makers) into Klis'Dret (Sword-Makers) and Tux'Dret (Axe-Makers).
