Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The creatures seem to feel the sensations that others do within ~30ft or so. They have been observed to act much like a hive mind in larger schools and seem to show rudimentary intelligence. The pockets that line their body are super sensitive to pressure changes and vibrations within the water, allowing them to pin-point the location of moving targets with astounding accuracy. Its unknown if they have a super sense of smell or if they can taste trace amounts of substances in water, but blood seems to send them into a feeding frenzy.
