Gnawdad

The Gnawdad is a large Invertebrate similar in size to most alligators. It is a dangerous creature that resides within the immense bogs of the Muffled Sump. It has been hunted in some parts for food as the meat is rich and tender with one being able to feed small communities.

Anatomy

• Hardened Exoskeleton
• 12 legs
• 2 sets of antenna
• Long muscular tail
• Can grow up to 12ft long and almost 1,000lbs. 

Ecology and Habitats

They are solitary creatures that can be found across the Muffled Sump.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Gnawdads are carnivores and ambush predator's. Often waiting in the water for something to walk by or any low flying birds as they can leap up to 15ft out of the water.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Gnawdads have very poor vision but they make up for it with superior "hearing" where their antenna can pick up on some of the slightest vibrations.
