Anatomy

• They have 4-6 legs
• They most commonly have 14 eyes, two groups of 7 on each side of their head
• They have long and very fine hair that is green and looks like moss
• They have one row of very hard teeth

Ecology and Habitats

They live and can be commonly found in most of the forests across Holdt, where their color may change slightly to better match the environment.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The Moss Mite, although may look a bit ferocious is a strict forager, only eating decaying creatures and plants. They seem to prefer the hard parts of corpses and plants, going for bones and the similar first before other parts of the decaying meal.

Domestication

They are often domesticated and kept as pets. They are very well mannered and curious creatures. They seem to easily bond with their owners and some are kept in taverns or farms to help with cleaning duties.

Spread across almost every corner of Holdt.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They have decent eyesight, though their sense of smell is most notable, being able to smell decaying life from almost a mile away.
