Over the years, the small harbour has grown in consequence: many trade deals with various merchant and trade guilds of Alven have taken place in the port and it has become an important commercial place in the north of Alven.

The Temple of the Sands and the Grove of the Divine Healers near the site of the marina still functions as religious complex of some note. Both sites are a well known pilgrimage site for seafaring folks throughout Alven.
In recent years, the port has become a fashionable spot for prominent and wealthy clansmen of the southern and norhtern clans. Many come to stay in their summer estates during the Light Months of the year to benefit from a regime of healing sea waters. Lately the Grove of the Divine Healers has transformed itself into a sought-after spa complex.
