Back to Alven ...

Q1. Which project are your worldbuilding efforts tied to?

I am going back to my original project: the world of Alven. Alven is the setting of the fantasy book I am writing. I had been very busy setting up my first DnD campaign in Faerun in the last few months, but I am now very keen to go back to writing my book and refining the worldbuilding on my own original setting.
I will also be catching up with articles for the world I created in Synergasia: Francalia.

Q2. Which world are you working on?

Alven and Fancalia

Q3. Which area of the world(s) are you working on?

Alven

In Alven, I will be interested in developing the organizations that will be playing a big part in the book: the Archive and the Sanctuary. Some of the infrastructures are still quite nebulous to me. I would like to bring a fresh approach to these that will hopefully show some originality in worldbuilding. The devil is in the detail.
For the more general prompts, I will focus on the Farden region in North Alven where my heroine starts her story.

Synergasia /Francalia

With Francalia, I will let my imagination run wild. I am hoping to develop Francalia as Alven's Republican neighbour.
First, I will be following the prompts on Synergasia and then, if I have got time since I am on my holidays in July, I will be doubling up on the Summer Camp prompts!

Q4. How much are you aiming to complete?

I joined World Anvil last year in the middle of Summer Camp! I still managed to complete quite a few prompts and earned the Silver badge. This year, I am going all the way - Diamond badge!

Q5. When will you write?

As I am on holiday, I have the luxury of writing in my bed when I wake up in the morning with a nice cup of coffee and toasts. Heaven!
I also plan to maybe listen to a few ASC Twitch streams to help me along.

Q6. Who is your support network?

Last year, I found the ASC streamers a great healp. I have not been listening to worldbuilding streams for a few months now, but I am sure to start again very soon to get myself going.

New this year: I want to post regularly on the Discord chat, post links to my finished articles more often, as well as comment on other participants.
