  "Infusions to rigs, Ritual Casting & Notebooks Number of known infusions is halved (follows the infused items column) and may not be changed when taking new levels. Instead of creating temporary magic items you learn to create rigs that reduce the cost and time needed to create permanent magic items. The number of total created items is only limited to your time and access to needed resources. When learning a new 'infusion' (levels 2,6,10,14,18) you gain one of the learned magic items at no cost as a consequence of the extensive tinkering and experimentation that successful Artificers can't help but engage in.
  Notes on the creation of rigs are usually kept in a personal notebook, typically a closely guarded secret for Artificers, and are required when creating the rigs or relevant items. If lost, an artificer can replace the notebook from memory during a long rest but a stick and a sand or sweat and stone are all that are needed by an artificer to check their formulas. Artificer may also store details for ritual spells they know in these personal notebooks and cast them without preparing them.
  Specific Infusions The bonus for Repulsive Shield, Radiant Weapon and Returning Weapon increase to +2 at level 14.
